MOULDED PLYWOOD
Beech shells for rotary die cutting

TS is one of the market leaders among the European manufacturers of half-shells for rotary die cutting. Only selected beech round wood from renewable German forests is used for production. The advantage of beech as opposed to birch or hard maple is a higher degree of hardness as well as greater tensile strength.
Through modern engineering, TS ensures high dimensional stability and the smallest possible dimension tolerance. The controlled influencing of the diameter tolerances is carried out by using clearly defined pressure and temperature parameters during the pressing process. The format cut is computer-controlled and facilitates straight-line parallel cuts as well as right-angled edge cuts.
To increase protection against moisture absorption and/or better adhesion properties of pasted lined plastic, half-shells can on request also be supplied with a priming film on both the hollow and outer sides. A special glue recipe guarantees the laser cutting capability.
Of course TS also offers beech plywood for high-quality flat-bed die cutting for increased demands on tensile strength.
